ACTIVITIES AT THE FARM
TYRIFJORDEN
A short walk from Drolsum Gård you will find Norway's fifth largest lake, Tyrifjorden. Here there are great swimming opportunities with sandy beaches and shallow water. It is also possible to fish in the lake.
THE FARMS HISTORY AND BUILDINGS
During summer time we offer a guided tour in the history of Drolsum Gård. A tour of Gamlestua, the storehouse and the blacksmith stable. You get an insight into how people on the farm lived, and you get to see the old machines, tools and equipment.
COFFEE IN GAMLESTUA
You will be served coffee or tea and home baked goods in Gamlestua to Kari and Anders, or outside in the garden if the weather is nice.
HOLLEIA
Not far from Drolsum Gård you will find Holleia, where there are good hiking opportunities in the forest, from spring to autumn. During winter, there are cross-country skiing possibilities in the forest path.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
We offer bicycle, canoe and fishing rod rental that guests can use during the season.
FIRE PIT ON THE FARM
We will set up the fire pit for you. Where you the opportunity for good conversations, food & drinks or just to warm up during cold winter days.
